Our working hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 22:00, and on Saturdays we work from 09:00 – 12:00.
We are located at the address Ulica Svetog Spasa 5b in the newly built neighborhood in Split, Mejaši Novi, near the Mall of Split shopping centre. If you are coming from the centre of Split down Vukovarska Street, then turn left at the intersection after you pass Mall of Split to the Ulica 141. Brigade Hrvatske vojske. Go straight on for 400 metres, along the curve to the right. Our clinic will be on your right side in the business offices of the highest residential building.
You are in the right place because dental implantology is one of the branches of dentistry which is our speciality. We use the premium brand Swiss Straumann implants. The very procedure of inserting the implant is painless for the patient, however I suggest you take a leave day or two in order to relax after the procedure. After two months of osseointegration in the lower jaw and three months in the upper jaw, the patient gets the crown, which is the final product. Then, the entire insertion procedure is completed. While you are waiting for the final product you are wearing a temporary crown which is at a high level both aesthetically and functionally.
Orthopantomogram is one of the most common diagnostic procedures that we do in dental clinic. It provides us with a two-dimensional image of both jaws with the minimal amount of radiation, simple use and fast scanning. It represents the basis of every diagnostic in dentistry. If you are sending us your orthopan via e-mail in order to get our offer, it should ideally be no older than 6 months. If you cannot send it in a digital format, ideally you can take a picture of the film in front of a source of light and send us that photo.
We do CBCT in our clinic which represents the most precise diagnostic methods for the implant insertion. It provides us with a three-dimensional image of the jaw which is extremely important for an accurate diagnosis of all other dental conditions.
It is not necessarily true that the implant therapy requires as many implants as there are missing teeth. We can substitute the teeth loss just as successfully if we insert 2 implants and place a bridge with 4 parts on them. If you are missing more teeth, there is also the efficient implant-prosthetic therapy.
If you don’t have a single tooth, I recommend the implant-prosthetic therapy of the All on 4 method. This is an exceptionally stable, durable, quality and aesthetically superior therapy which will ensure that you feel the teeth as if they were natural regardless of whether you are smiling, chewing or talking. There is no difference in the look or sensation if we compare them to natural teeth.
Simple – come for a complementary check-up and CBCT scan. The check-up will help us determine whether you have the necessary condition to insert implants: the height and width of the bone and bone quality. However, if the conditions do not appear to be satisfactory, then the procedure of augmenting or bone grafting can repair the necessary volume of the bone. This way we create the conditions for an easy insertion of the necessary number of implants. We use the patient's blood plasma for the procedure of bone augmentation which is extracted with the PRGF technology.
After the implantation procedure you will get detailed advice on hygiene maintenance in our dental clinic. It is necessary to maintain regular dental hygiene (soft toothbrushes, toothpaste, interdental brushes and dental floss) and to have regular check-ups at least once a year. During the check-ups you will receive advice on using mouthwash that contains chlorhexidine.
The implantation procedure is relatively fast and completely painless for the patient. After the anaesthesia wears off, there may be some pain and slight swelling. The patient should use ice that they received at the clinic for 4-5 hours with approximately 10-minute breaks. This way the swelling will go down. It is not recommended to smoke for 3-4 hours after the procedure (preferably that entire day). It is also recommended to eat soft food on the opposite side, and not drink hot or sparkling beverages.
Considering that your teeth are intact, natural and healthy we will slenderise the tooth minimally if you want to upgrade their aesthetic appearance. Additionally, our veneers are made using the digital CAD-CAM technology which means that they feature high quality, strength and durability. They will suit your face perfectly.
Veneers last for minimally 10 years or even longer, provided that you have regular dental check-ups and maintain excellent oral hygiene. An extraordinary feature of the zirconium veneers is that they do not change their colour, not even if you are drinking coffee, tea or other beverages. Therefore, you are free to enjoy!
No, it shouldn’t. If there is enough space in the jaw for the wisdom tooth to erupt, then its function is in balance with the rest of teeth. However, if the wisdom tooth does not have enough space to erupt then it can significantly disturb the balance of the rest of teeth, cause pain, gum swelling and teeth moving to unnatural positions. If you notice any of these symptoms, make an appointment for a check-up so that we can determine whether we should extract your wisdom tooth. The surgical procedure of extracting the wisdom tooth which erupted partially or has not erupted at all, is called alveotomy.
Come to our clinic for a complementary check-up and an RTG scan and let us inspect together the possibilities that would lead your smile to perfection. We will carefully examine the length and the shape of teeth that would suit your face. This way we can achieve a natural smile that many will envy.
